In the first years of foundation activity, some scholarships were awarded and sponsorships were taken over. These students attend good private schools in Gulu. Two of the scholarship holders have now graduated from primary school with excellent results, and are now going to secondary school in Kampala, for lack of alternatives in Gulu, funded by the foundation.
The Foundation also attaches importance to communicating with the remaining parents or relatives and guardians of the children in order to learn their concerns and needs, but also to make it clear that they are also expecting their own contribution to the education of the children entrusted to them becomes.
Private schools are usually boarding schools, so that children can concentrate on learning and not be deterred by education in agriculture.
The existing scholarships and sponsorships will be continued until the children have graduated. After completion of the Foundation’s own school, we will be able to provide a good number of other needy children a good education.
